Would you like to learn about more about Italian wine or absorb some fun facts that you can use on your friends at your next dinner party?  For only €5, you can join our new wine tasting series and get your wine groove on!

For our second installment, Blaine will be escorting us over to Le Marche, where we'll enjoy the wine of the beautiful coastal region in the ancient style, with Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva DOCG.  Everyone will have to BYOB to this event, as we are not in person, so please be sure to buy a bottle or half bottle at your local enoteca or wine shop beforehand.  Try not to purchase your wine in a supermarket, you'll receive much higher quality and maybe even make some new wine friends if you buy directly from a wine shop.  Or you can even get it delivered by Bernabei!  As for the wine, you could go for the iconic Sartarelli, playful Fratelli Bucci, or powerhouse Umani Ronchi.  Whatever you and your wine shop choose will be wonderful, just don't spend more than €20 unless you're wanting to splurge.

Wine of the Month

- Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva DOCG (make sure you ask for this specifically)

- under €20

- pair with snacks like almonds, pecorino cheese, or a raw veggie platter.

- if you're pairing with dinner, any white or shellfish with garlic and oil will be perfect, as well as roast chicken or a pasta alla vignarola.

Starting as a monthly event on Zoom, we're looking forward to also hosting these in person in the future.  Maybe we'll start doing a care package where we ship you the wine and snacks to pair with them?  Maybe we'll do them twice a month, who knows!?  This is a new format, so we'll be tweaking it as we go.  Sign up now and come taste with us!
