Marcel Kaminstein is an Italian American born in the United States, and spends half his life between Italy and the US. His mother is from Rome and thanks to her, was exposed to the beauty and culture of Italy. Marcel is fluent in both English and Italian. He did his undergraduate studies at the American University of Rome, receiving an International Business degree in 2002. In 2004, he became Manager and Coordinator of Special Events Luxury Division for Starboard Cruise Services, an LVMH company, specializing in cruise ship duty-free retail specifically producing jewelry trunk show programs for manufacturers such as Cartier and EFFY. After creating an organization that manages brands and operates the logistics for ships worldwide, Marcel successfully lobbied to have created a customs ruling in the US to specifically address his companies niche in logistical process. In 2015, Marcel joined the AICR Board as Secretary and was assigned the role of Vice President in November of that same year. He subsequently became President in December 2016, then again in June 2018. Marcel's current AICR successes include the creation of the Business Networking Events, the inclusion of student memberships, new member outreach, the spearheading to recreate the AICR website and the re-writing of the Association Bylaws.

Marco Maximilian Elser was born in Rome of an American father and Italian mother, then moved to New York City, only to return to Rome about 34 years ago. He received a Degree in Economics from Harvard University in 1981. His professional experience includes being head of international marketing sales for Kinetix Measurements in New York, first Vice President for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets in Rome and London, and head of international market and credit institutions sales for Northeast Securities in New York. Marco joined AdviCorp in 2002 where he set up its capital markets for which he was responsible until the end of 2014. In 2015 he joined Lonsin Capital, a London-based investment banking boutique. Marco was also the President of the Harvard Club of Italy until June 2014 and his passion in life is Polo. He speaks English, Italian, French, and Spanish fluently. Marco has been a member of the AICR Board of Directors since 2004 and Vice President from 2004 to 2012. He is married to Flaminia Cuturi, who is also a member of AICR.

Fabio Ferrari was born in Rome, Italy. He attended Avogardo high school in Rome and also studied at Redford High School in Detroit, MI as an exchange student. His post graduate studies were in Architecture and Regional Planning and a one year course in Engineering at the La Sapienza University. His professional experience includes various management positions in the technical and sales departments of international engineering companies belonging to multinational groups such as ENI, General Electric Power Systems and ENEL. During the 27 years of continuous international activity, six of which were spent as an expatriate in Kazakhstan, Turkey and Moscow, Fabio has had the chance to work with US companies in both the US and locations abroad, including CIS, Indonesia, and Peru. Since September 2009, he has worked in Rome as a consultant in the design/construction and real estate fields. He speaks English and Italian fluently. Fabio has been a member of the AICR since 2009 and is serving his first year of a two year term as an AICR Board Member. He is enthusiastic about making our organization more dynamic by helping to develop our web image and presence, as well as encouraging interesting people to join.

Stela Taneva was born in Bulgaria, but has been living in Italy for almost 30 years. The first ten years she lived in Milan where she graduated in psychology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan. She continued her studies in Rome where she specialized in strategic psychotherapy. She continued her training with Ericksonian hypnosis, sexology, legal psychology and effective communication techniques. She mainly works as a freelancer with clinical activities, psychotherapy, training and counseling. She commits herself with passion to create events dedicated to personal development and the improvement of quality of conscious life. She is interested in books (she reads over 200 books a year of different genres), in art, music and travel. She has been a member of the American International Club of Rome for several years and is also part of other international communities. Stella is a dual citizen and speaks English fluently. She aims to organize cultural activities for the club, events dedicated to socialization with the opportunity to make short trips outside Rome, to create contacts with other international communities in Rome and to share each other's events in order to enrich the culture, exchange knowledge and increase awareness of the members.

Scotti Rhodes is thrilled to be living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and feels fortunate to have been able to continue her work as a publicist for her New York theater clients since moving to Rome over eleven years ago. Although her clients are primarily actors, playwrights and theater companies, she has worked with international artists over the years since starting her own business, including an engagement from a Rome based modern dance company known as Compagnia di Danza Vera Stasi which introduced her to the Eternal City. Her publicity involves strategies that garner opportunities for her clients in a highly competitive market, as well as writing press releases to elicit reviews, feature stories and listings. She has been a publicist for award winning New York International Fringe Festival productions in addition to a plethora of original plays and revivals. She holds a BA in Dramatic Arts from the University of California Berkeley. Having grown up in Los Angeles with family in the film industry, she retains a passion for American cinema and is also an enthusiast of art, music, fashion, travel, cooking and yoga.

Loretta Dusini is a native New Yorker who has been living in Rome for over 15 years. She graduated from City University of New York in International Business after having studied one year abroad at the University of Bologna in Italy. She is currently completing a Master's degree in Political Science at St. John's University (Rome Campus). Loretta's previous work experience includes the Chamber of Commerce in New York as Marketing Manager, followed by Trade Analyst at the Chamber of Commerce in Chicago. Loretta then began a new challenge in Rome at the U.S. Embassy to the Vatican as Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Mission followed by a Political Appointment as Special Assistant to Ambassador Jim Nicholson (also former Secretary for Veterans Affairs). She is currently at the U.S. Embassy in Rome as Global Employment Advisor. Loretta’s mother tongue is English. She also speaks fluent Italian and studied Spanish and French. Her interests include art, history and politics. Loretta is fulfilling her ninth year on the American International Club of Rome Board of Directors. She loves the cinema, sports and is an avid kick-boxer. She is passionate about connecting people and organizing niche events for the Club.

Robert Sonnabend teaches courses in Marketing, Management, and Communications in both the Business Studies and Communication Department. He has been teaching at AUR for eight years, coming from an international business background.
He has previously held VP of Marketing & Sales positions for US-based operations, and was the Managing Director of a UK-based training and consulting company. A global sales executive with a manufacturing background, Robert developed distribution channels in China and India, including manufacturing operations in Tianjin, China and Bangalore, India, for mid-size computers and software.

Carlo is the President of Rome Guide Services in Rome and perfectly bi-lingual Italian and English. Carlo joined the Board of Directors in 2018 and has been a member for some years.
