Internet, data protection and privacy

Today we live online. We are more and more connected and the quantity of time we spend surfing is increasing.

Our bank account is online, job interviews are on zoom, we read the news online, we work online. The Web is becoming more and more our natural habitat. Are we aware what it means living in internet?

For most of us it is an unexplored new place. But it is a place full of danger and risks and we can be victims to cybercriminals.

Mostly, we’re not aware what happens to our new personality online and that the internet’s gasoline is our data.

In this meeting we will discover a hidden part of web and try to understand how to protect ourselves and mostly our youth.

Gianni Dell’Aiuto is a business and corporate lawyer born in Tuscany and has lived and worked in Rome for over thirty years.

One of main topics of his work is Privacy and Data Protection. He has written books and articles on the topic, describing Homo Googlis, the new man after Homo Sapiens: the hero of Digital revolution.

Gianni loves good food, jazz, traveling and in his house has four aquariums.
