Join us for an evening with Swedish-American artist and photographer Florence Montmare as she presents and signs copies of her acclaimed monograph, Scenes from an Island (Kerber Verlag).
Created over a decade of visits to the Ingmar Bergman Estate on the Swedish island of Fårö, the book brings together photography and writing that explore themes of time, transience, landscape, and the human experience of displacement. Montmare's evocative images have been exhibited internationally, including at Fotografiska New York, the Bergman Center, and the National Museum of Finland.
