American Exchange of Rome is pleased to have extended an invitation to our friends American Club of Rome, Navy League, Canadian Club of Rome (+ partners and friends), the US Embassy and FAO to join us for the 2019 Cinco de Mayo FIESTA to celebrate our North American neighbour MEXICO, a country brimming with exceptionally warm people, proud heritage, delicious foods and colourful traditions that have enriched us ALL for centuries. Enjoy an enchanted evening of Live Mariachi Music and delicious Mexican cuisine (TexMex/CalMex style) prepared by renown Gambero Rosso Executive chef Diana Beltran Casarrubias at her newest Mexican food venue "MAYBU" (Margaritas Y Burritos). Savor a "Limoncello Margarita", a specialty drink created just for this occasion by Chef/Owner Diana Beltran, accented with Italy's famous PALLINI Limoncello made from infused "IGP" lemon rinds cultivated and hand-picked from the Amalfi Coast's terraced-hillsides. Traditional margarita vs. Limoncello margarita? Both will be available so everyone can have a chance to contemplate it.

WHAT: Choose from MAYBU's regular menu, or enjoy a special prix-fix menu €12 (includes burrito or tostada or nachos + margarita or other drink incl. non-alcoholic).
Set-up will facilitate mingling (unfixed, mobile seating), and include a FREE dessert-tasting (incl. chocolate cake served with PALLINI Limoncello Sauce + cheesecake served with PALLINI Sambvca 313 Sauce, and more) all sponsored by PALLINI - one of Rome's oldest and most prestigious companies in the drink industry celebrating 135 years of business history.
