Sliced pizza: it's not just a matter of shape!

There are many differences between the Italian round pizza and the rectangular one, cut into pieces and sold for take away. The sliced pizza is a typically Roman product and now you can find in all Italian cities. The consistency and the dough are different from those of the classic pizza you eat on the plate. Not all Americans have clear ideas about this difference but there is a Roman pizzaiolo who has been living in California for many years and has opened a successful pizzeria by the slice and you can listen to the explanation in the interview below!
