Introducing Laura Mancini
Hi! My name is Laura Mancini. I love art, music, theatre but also Italian fashion, food, and wine! I love to learn foreign languages and I am a TESOL certificated teacher of English. I am a writer, journalist, blogger, and radio speaker from Rome.

I began my experience with journalism while I was a student at the University La Sapienza and I became editor in chief of the University newspaper. After I graduated in Japanese and Chinese Languages and Cultures, I practiced with a monthly newspaper of Rome and in 2006 I became a registered member of the Italian journalist association. After that, I wrote for several web magazines, and worked as an editor in chief for two journals, until I became a drama and music critic for the National newspaper Il Giornale.
In 2008 I created Moozart, an international blog about music, theatre, and art. From 2015 to 2017 I also wrote for the American webzine West 46th Magazine, signing my articles about music and fashion with the pseudonym Candy Valentino. In 2018 I also created the blog Candy Valentino, focused on Made in Italy. Last August 2020 I decided to start a new editorial project called Foodietaly: this blog about Italian food is entirely published in English. Linked to my articles I also publish several podcasts on my Anchor channel where you can listen to interviews with Italian people living in the United States and working in the food industry.
